Who is an institutional trading account suitable for?

Posted on 2023-05-04

Institutional trading accounts are typically designed for large financial institutions, such as banks, hedge funds, pension funds, and other large investment firms. These accounts are not suitable for individual traders as they require a significantly higher minimum deposit than retail trading accounts, often in the millions of dollars, and are subject to different rules and regulations. Institutional trading accounts also provide access to a wider range of financial instruments and advanced trading technologies, which may not be necessary or relevant for individual traders.
